Piraju

Coordinates: 23°11′37″S, 49°23′02″W Piraju is a municipality/county in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2004 is 28,831 and the area is 506.48 km². The elevation is 646 m. This place name comes from the Tupi language.
