Lumholtz' Pine (Pinus lumholtzii) is a species of conifer in the Pinaceae family. It is found only in Mexico. (Pino triste; sad pine in spanish), it occurs in the states of Chihuahua to Zacatecas, Nayarit, Jalisco, Aguascalientes (29° to 22° North latitude). It is 15-20 m tall. It grows at 1600-3000 in elevation. It grows in warm temperate and cool climates with rainfalls in summer.
