Especially with renewed interest in PaS, from recent Bungie quotes, this article deserves to stay live. At least some people do want to know what PaS is, and the only way to get rid of a PaS page would be to forward the "Pimps at Sea" query to a full Bungie mythology page, and turn that one my thology page into a massive, total codex for the zillions of zany Bungie things that people ask about. The "Bungie mythology" on their own article is currently 5 massive paragraphs that all need a little trimming themselves. I don't think this little page is hurting anyone, and until Bungie confirms their next project, there's no reason not to keep this stub around at least that long. Unless someone wants to get started on that "Bungie mythos" page... [calderra currently logged out]
- Well, I did it myself. Wanna help unite all the parts of Bungie mythology into one database? Join the Bungie Mythos project. Heh. Gspawn 21:55, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] PC Gamer origins?
I thought that Pimps at Sea originated as a PC Gamer inside back cover spoof, claiming that an article about the game would appear in the next issue, which was then taken up and run with by Bungie. I could rifle through my ridiculously tall stack of PCGs, but that would involve effort. Does anyone else have a glimmer of an idea which issue the gag appeared in? --Clement Cherlin 00:00, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- Maybe coincidence? I could be wrong, but I don't think Bungie yanked it from anywhere. Frankie would be the nearest source for that, as he was once editor-in-chief of a game magazine, but that was OXM methinks. Gspawn 19:14, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- I think Gspawn is right. Runcorn 19:02, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why the template?
As this isn't a real video game, isn't it a nonsense to make it part of this project?--Runcorn 19:31, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- The project isn't just for games. It's for everythign game-related. We list cancelled games, designers, design elements, genres, publications about games and gaming culture. This would seem to fall under this broad sweep. Ace of Sevens 21:03, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
If it has been added each year you dont need to list each year It gives the impression as if it dosent happen every year which it does "It has been added to in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 on each April Fool's day" Instead write something like this "It has been added to every year since it's creation"
