[edit] 2 different articles?

I've taken 2 pictures using photoelasticimetry, i placed them in the french wikipedia (there). It might be a good idea to place them here. But I wonder if there should be 2 different articles called photoelasticity and photoelasticimetry, as it is not exactly the same thing (in french at least).

[edit] objection

I consider photoelasticity to be an effect, not a method, this affect can be used to do stress analysis but it is used to do a lot of things (like making an AOM). I think this article focuses to much on the stress analysis method and not that much on the physics of the effect, as in where it comes from, how it behaves in different materials etc etc. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 130.225.102.1 (talk) 16:39, 24 April 2007 (UTC).
