[edit] Advertisements

This is a strange page, it it informative or mostly advertising? rakkar 06:46, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Well spoken. Mostly? Me being from Germany shouldnt care about advertising in this version, but if the same rules apply, somebody should at least delete the link. nullbarriere 19:39, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Link to photobookguide.com

I've just now removed the link to photobookguide.com.

I hadn't previously heard of the site. I took the link to it and liked what I saw. (I particularly appreciated the less-than-enthralled view "Dollars and sense" on the opening page.) But what I saw wasn't very much. Most of the books are collections by individual photographers, and there seem to be fewer than twenty of these books. The site may very well become one of the first places to go for reviews of photo books, but it's nowhere near there yet. As long as it isn't there, and as long as it links to Amazon, a link to it from this article looks promotional.

Again, I wish it well. Removing the link to it in its present state does not mean that a link shouldn't be added later to it in an expanded state. -- Hoary 01:42, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
