Philip Boyle

Phil Boyle (born July 21st, 1961) is a member of the New York State Assembly representing the 8th Assembly district, which includes West Babylon, Babylon, West Islip, Bayshore, Islip, East Islip, and Great River.
Phil Boyle is an active member of the Great River Fire Department. He also is a close friend and political ally of former U.S. Representative Rick Lazio. He seved as Lazio's campaign manager and was his Administrative Assistant. He was first elected to the state Assembly in 1994, and did not seek reelection in 2002, honoring a term-limits pledge. He returned to the state Assembly after winning a special election on February 28, 2006.
He is married to Victoria Ryan.

Assemblyman Boyle is currently a delegate for John McCain being one of the few New York elected officials to endorse McCain before the primaries where most endorsed Rudy Giuliani.
