Link to an online clothing store, which is off-line. --Ianb 17:51, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)

  • I was about to comment on the contradiction there, until I saw how very correct is is. Bizarre advert- delete. -FZ 18:19, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Wikipedia is not a billboard. Livajo 18:53, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • On the other hand, I see "Phat Farm" branded clothing all over the place around here (Southern California). It's clearly a fairly successful brand, and maybe we need an article on it. I don't think this is really that article, though. —Morven 19:00, Sep 13, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep current version. Recently sold for $140 million, so notable (also as per other comments). I have copyedited a bit. Thue | talk 19:28, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • comment: thanks. Alas, I have to say, to someone who's never heard of it, the text as is still doesn't convince - any more than an article saying "Groovy Clothes is a clothing line created by Fredd Bloggs (link to non-working website)" would do. Who is Russell Simmons? Where is Phat Farm sold? How, why is it popular? Would I order something for my Granny here? If the above info can be included though, I'd say it's keepable. --Ianb 19:49, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • If somebody can write a little about why it's notable in the article I will change my vote. Livajo 19:52, 13 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Notable, send to cleanup. -- Jmabel 00:03, Sep 14, 2004 (UTC)
  • Move and send to clean up. Correct title is Phat Farm, and it is a large clothing line now. It's nothing I'd consider vital, but it passes the low bar of notability. Geogre 00:23, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)
    • Aha. The correct name for the company is Phat Farm. Guess what? Phat Farm exists. Guess what else? It's worse than this one! Therefore, delete, and I will list Phat Farm on clean up. Geogre 00:25, 14 Sep 2004 (UTC)
      • You mean redirect and list Phat Farm on Cleanup, right? [[User:Meelar|Meelar (talk)]] 18:32, Sep 14, 2004 (UTC)
      • That would be the same as my suggestion, yes. I didn't think of the need for a redirect, but there obviously is one. Then Phat Farm needs clean up. Geogre 17:37, 15 Sep 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. -Sean Curtin 01:53, Sep 14, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep Phat Farm, cleanup optional. Delete counter-productive, history-less, created by a Move, Phat farm redirect--no articles link to it, nor should they, and the redir is not necessary to find "Phat Farm" typing in the Search box--in fact, its presence only makes it more likely someone will link to the lowercase version, and causes a lowercase Search to display an unnecessary 'redirected from...' at the top of the article. The trivia section had 'a bitch' trailing on the end of the sentence. Can't figure out what the hell it's for, whether vandalism or not, so I'm just taking it out until someone can stick it back in with more context. 72.224.79.187 00:35, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Phat Farm.jpg

Image:Phat Farm.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:15, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
