Pewsey Vale F.C. are a football club based in the village of Pewsey, Wiltshire, England.
They joined the Western League Division One in 1993, switching to the Hellenic League in 2000. Finishing as runner-up in the Hellenic League Division One West in their first season, they earned promotion to the Premier Division, before being relegated back to Division One West.
Formerly known as Pewsey Y M, the club were able to enter the FA Cup for a few seasons just after World War II, but never progressed past the First Qualifying Round. In recent years, the team has been eligible for the FA Vase, with their best performances being the three seasons in which they have reached the first round proper.
Pewsey Vale have produced some great talent over the years, a great example of this would be young James Turner. Starting off in the youth team back in 2006, Turner went from strength to strength, until Ken Turner, the U18's manager said to first team coach Dave Turner, who is James Turner's father, "He's ready for the first team", now James is a first team regular and putting in performances week in week out. And with his great performances of late, he is attracting attention from other big teams in the area, such as Wootton Bassett Town FC and Malmsbury Victoria, but Turner had said himself he would like to see out his contract until the summer, and take things from there. Turner has played 10 times this season and scored one goal. He is also a member of the Cirencester Academy.
As reported in the local newspaper, Pewsey are targeting numerous young talent, to go along with James Turner in the first team. One of the names being reported with Pewsey, is Lee Moulton of Cirencester Academy. Pewsey are looking at the prospect of maybe getting Moulton on a loan agreement that will see him play until the end of the season if all go's well for Pewsey and an agreement between the two clubs can be reached. However, Pewsey face stiff opposition in securing the services of Moulton, who has believed to have already spoken with Swindon Supermarine about joining them next season, on a full-time contract.
