Petoskey, Michigan is part of WikiProject Michigan, a WikiProject related to the U.S. state of Michigan.

Ignatius's name was Petosega, not Petoskey. I have a copy of a city guidebook from the 1800's which names him as such. The author of the guidebook even thought the name of the city should be changed to Petosega because Petoskey sounded vaguely Russian. Corbmobile (talk) 04:35, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What Businesses and Organizations should have links here?

I noticed the casino and some tourist shops have links from the Petoskey article to their own website. I don't see them mentioned anywhere in the article and other then the fact that they are located in Petoskey I don't think there is anything special about them.

What are the rules about linking to external sites? Can any business put a link on their home city article? What does it become advertising?
