[edit] Reverting your link changes
Thanks for leaving a note on the DSC talk page. However, internally linking to product information sections of EasyIVR from the parent organization (Database Systems Corp.) and from CARE (when EasyIVR is the technology provider as well) is totally appropriate. I'm reverting these edits back. pgillman 15:23, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for the note that you reverted the change. I have to create an account one of these days. I created what I hope you find to be a better alternative. The product links remain, and the generic terms now link to their definitions as well. I don't have any problem with the link itself. It's when the link to the product page appears to be a link to the TERM IVR. I fixed the section to demonstrate what I mean regarding the seperation of products and their purpose.
Think of it link Q-Tip brand cotton swabs. You don't make links that say cotton swabs go directly to the Q-Tips page.66.227.132.25 21:20, 14 May 2007 (UTC)- Thanks, but I must disagree. If the article were not about the parent company, you'd be right. However, using your example, if I'm on a web page about Q-Tips and there's a link to "cotton swabs" on that page, its perfectly legitimate that the link points to the Q-Tip product page. You've now created 2 links when really only 1 is needed. FYI, please sign your comments using 4 tildes (~) at the end. pgillman 16:27, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
