[edit] sources

i updated the link to the first source because it wasn't working, then checked the other two sources and couldn't find them anywhere online, only found the first source.

I removed this from the second paragraph:

"by 'buying his way out' of the difficulty with the Government of New Zealand."

Very biased, and no evidence is given. Reinsert it if evidence can be cited, but revise it for neutrality. --Slowking Man 03:32, Aug 21, 2004 (UTC)

I agree, I didn't like that sentence either. --bquanta 04:25, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Last sentence? The whole thing is libel, literally. The ACLU is left wing? It's a "pressure group?" Soros "plundered?" This is nonsense of the highest water, bile and venom of the lowest order. It is nothing but a 100% right wing smear. Geogre 18:44, 24 Aug 2004 (UTC)

I merged Peter B. Lewis with this page. This is probably because I live only a few miles away from the namesake building, but I always think of him as "Peter B. Lewis", not "Peter Lewis". Is that just a Clevelander thing?

I changed the section titled 'Philanthropy' to 'Donations'. While some of his donations do appear to be to humanitarian organizations, I think we can all agree that giving money to political groups (such as the democratic party or moveon.org) aren't acts of philanthropy. -S

[edit] Age?

Can someone add his date of birth. Most articles on people start out with "John Q. Public, born September 5th, 1911".68.255.187.47 19:23, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
