[edit] Former MP?

Some news sources are reporting him as a former MP, however is this the case, although he was still an MP through until the election was called, I think he would still have been the MP for Calare. Ajayvius 23:27, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

I guess any way you put it, he's a former MP, isn't he? It's a pity this article is so short, for an MP who stood out from the crowd and was in the spotlight quite a lot. I don't have time to expand it in the near term. Maybe in the months ahead.--Lester 23:37, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
I don't either - and have wanted to for some time, and have a couple of books which may help. RIP to a genuinely good bloke. Orderinchaos 09:37, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
As parliament was dissolved some days ago, I believe that even if he was still with us he would no longer have been a member of the parliament. Timeshift 23:45, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

His own website acknowledges he was MP until 17 October 2007 at which time the Parliament was dissolved. Ajayvius 23:59, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Thought that would be the case. Timeshift 00:28, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
Does anyone have details regarding his teaching career? Never paid attention to his talking while I was a student of his.: —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.254.101.247 (talk) 02:27, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

You could atleast advise what school and what years you knew he was a teacher, if it was primary or secondary, what subject area, etc. That would be a start, may be something to add. Ajayvius 02:58, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Never paid attention to his talking. Way to respect the dead. Timeshift 06:17, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
