Talk:Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial

[edit] Third tallest?
I do not believe this is the third tallest, since it and the Washington Monument are shorter than the San Jacinto Monument in La Porte, Texas. The San Jacinto Monument is 570 feet high and the Washington Monument is only 555 feet, and the Perry's Victory is 352 feet.
- Correct. I think the intent was to compare heights among National Memorials (San Jacinto is a state-owned memorial), but am not sure. I shall reword the article anyway. — Eoghanacht talk 18:04, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
