Peles Castle is Vlad Tepes'castle. It was the royal residence under Vlad Tepes' reign. The latter is notorious for chasing the Ottomans out of Romania with an uncommon cruelty. He is well known for piling them up on stakes.

The Castle was built in the 19th century. Vlad Tepes lived long before that. Bran Castle [1]is said to be Tepes' castle. Bogdan | Talk 12:59, 17 Jan 2004 (UTC)
