[edit] Pilot or not?

The beginning section says 'he did NOT pilot himself', but later in the article is says 'He was piloting a Consolidated Aircraft....which crashed 5 minutes after take-off from Mérida, Yucatán'. This is obviously contradictory. Which is correct?

Hansnesse: It is a rumor, and it is unverified the fact that he is dead, but I've just added the FACT that the rumor exists and that it is based on a character (VERIFIABLE), and a video of him (I have seen it). And also added the comment that it is most likely that this ANTONIO PEDRO character is using his resemblance with Pedro Infante for personal profit.

I strongly beleive that this must remain in the article, for when I saw the video I just ran into wikipedia for a confirmation / dismissal of this rumor, so if we just know that the rumor exists, it should remain as a FACT that it does.

Some say Pedro is not dead , there´s a video of a 70 year old man singing and he resembles him almos exaclt , it is said that he currenly resides on Delicis , Chihuahua

I don't have any particular knowedge of this man, but removed it since there does not seem to be a source, and seems to be an urban ledgend. --Hansnesse 06:01, 12 January 2006 (UTC)

I restored the early version, with a photograph and precision of Infante´s today popularity. What pretends 24.186.129.191 erasing a better version of article?

He is dead. All source articles cite his death. Rumor on article removed. Wikipedia is not rumor control and without verifiable citations, statements should not be added to articles. Ronbo76 16:21, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
