[edit] Comments

Hello Hadrianvs, please check the chronology and if you can, please put together a short intro (three paragraphs is the recommended length) to lead into the list. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or recommendations - they are more than welcome. Haiduc (talk) 00:30, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Hallo mon cher ami, Thank you very much for your kindness. I seldom read WIKIPEDIA , therefore I don't know how to make footnotes and references. Although I have many data and documenta on Japanese couples (they are very interesting and various), almost of them are not translated in European languages. And now I am writing a book " The History of Male Colour in Japan" in Japanese language. So I think it is better to make a book(written in English) in collaboration with you . Of course I can afford titles , chapters and paragraphs of original texts . Well then , the new book will be the most reliable sources of Japanese paiderastia. Don't you think it's a good idea ? I actually think this is a very good time for something very much like that. Please check your email. Haiduc (talk) 22:24, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
I'm tempted to move this to "List of pederastic couples in Japan" - thoughts?
I am not convinced that is the best way. This is more than a list, as all three of the "Couples" articles are at this point, since they actually condense the salient points of each relationship. What do you think would be gained by moving? Haiduc (talk) 10:33, 1 February 2008 (UTC)
Please wait for a while. First I list their names and then I will write episodes and anecdotes of each entry, in addition sorces of all entries. OK ? Hadrianvs et antinovs (talk) 11:04, 1 February 2008 (UTC)hadrianvs et antinovs
I just don't see a) what's to be gained by this article/list, b) what's "encyclopedic" about this article/list, c) if there are benefits to this over a simple category?
It really is just a list - even if you add comments, it's just a list of pederastic couples. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 21:28, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Dates, etc.

I have deleted a couple of dates since they did not refer to the date of the relationship but to the lives of the personages, which can be found in their respective articles. I have also de-linked Shinga as it took us to an irrelevant page. It remains to be determined if he has an article here under another name. Do we know what monastery or sect he was associated with? [edit] Saigō Takamori, Ōkubo Toshimichi and Murata Shinpachi

Which of the sources apply to Saigō Takamori, Ōkubo Toshimichi and Murata Shinpachi? I think more references are needed either for the relationships or the eras. Tweisbach (talk) 06:09, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Fact tags may help the editor who is/was working on this article. Haiduc (talk) 11:24, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Done. Tweisbach (talk) 13:16, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
As for "Saigō Takamori, Ōkubo Toshimichi and Murata Shinpachi", please read 『南方熊楠全集』again. Hadrianvs et antinovs (talk) 21:27, 10 May 2008 (UTC)hadrianvs et antinovs
Grand merci, mon cher, but page numbers as well as basic publishing data (year, publisher, city, ISBN) will go a long way towards helping real researchers pursue this information, as well as ensuring that this information has a long life in the Wikipedia. Haiduc (talk) 23:23, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
PS I see that the work you quote is the "Complete Works of Kumagusu Minakata". My previous request still stands. Haiduc (talk) 23:25, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
