[edit] Convention Work Group

You may be interested in this new work group since you do a lot of work with anime conventions and their wiki articles. It is part of WikiProject Anime and manga. --Farix (Talk) 01:57, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Request for Comment: List of anime conventions' criteria

Since you have participated in dispute regarding the criteria for List of anime conventions, your comments are requested for an RFC discussion. --Farix (Talk) 23:02, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Request for Participation in Universal Animation AfD Debate

Need more participation to reach consensus in Universal Animation (AfD). Since you contributed to the article one the New England Anime Society, your comments would be valuable. Echocharlie 15:37, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tomo-Dachi american guest claim

I would like to enquire about the Tomo-Dachi second convention in the UK to have US guests claim. I will admit to not having through knowledge in this are so I am refraining from red-editing this page again until I can find out whether I am wrong or not, but I am open to the possibility that I am. I don't mind being wrong, as it's better not to have incorrect information. Iamdani

Sorry I have read your post in the discussion section of the Tomo-Dachi article. Thank you for the information. Iamdani

[edit] Daigacon

Seems that an administrator (User:The Cunctator) restored it. It's an out of process restore as the article wasn't put up in WP:DRV. You may want to ask about it on the Admin notice board (WP:AN), but I don't think old articles that have been deleted through AfD are restored when a new article can be rewritten. --Farix (Talk) 23:51, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

It was deleted because it was a poorly written, unsourced entry about a convention that hadn't taken place yet. I restored it because it is now well written, wikified, sources, and the convention has happened. --The Cunctator 14:24, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
Hey--I've unprotected Daigacon. Gosh, processes keep getting more bureaucratic here. You should get admin rights, I'd think. --The Cunctator 18:45, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No Brand Con

I would like to discuss over on the talk:No Brand Con page the reasons for marking the article as violating original research and (newly) requiring cleanup. Altering the page with little-to-no explanation for these actions seems to constitute a sort of "drive-by edit", without concern for helping to make the entry better. ~ SeanOrange 20:33, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your mousepads

I breathlessly await an article containing the complete and detailed history of your mousepad collection.

Thanks for the laugh.--Kubigula (talk) 03:51, 14 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Another Anime Convention AfD review

I know that you have been for the deletion of Another Anime Convention, but I would still like to invite you to take another look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Another Anime Convention (2nd nomination). I had presented that Another Anime Convention is the biggest anime convention in New Hampshire, but before much discussion had taken place the deletion was closed. Would you like to voice your opinion, for or against, at the deletion review? The claims to notability meet the sole requirement for such claims to be verifiable, not necessarily verified. The two sources I had provided show that the claim is as true as far as can be proven also. As I stated, if I claimed to own the only Computer Repair Company in Iowa, and I had multiple phone-books to prove it, that would be enough verifiability for Wikipedia. Furthermore, any user can search Google for Anime Conventions in New Hampshire, and they will find no current ones (nor any larger than Another Anime Convention). I hope you consider participating in the review discussion. Kopf1988 00:50, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikiproject - Anime Cons

Would you mind looking over my comments to your comments on the project talk page? If you disagree/agree further I'd like to know your arguments so we can eventually create a pretty reliable standard... Kopf1988 05:07, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AnimeCons.com spelling mistake

Hey, when I submitted my link for my convention pictures, I found a spelling error that made me chuckle a little. "living, breathing human bring" - http://www.animecons.com/events/newreportthanks.shtml

Just thought I'd let you know. Adios Kopf1988 02:23, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, I'll fix that. By the way, if you need to contact me in the future for AnimeCons.com stuff, please use the contact form on the site. I'll get that long before I happen to look at Wikipedia. --PatrickD 21:25, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image source problem with Image:AnimeBoston2007Logo.jpg

Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:AnimeBoston2007Logo.jpg. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:19, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner.
