[edit] Merging Proposal
In addition to previously proposed merging of PC Multiplayer with Multiplayer video game, I just disputed the previous separation of Multiplayer game and Multiplayer video game. I call to merge PC Multiplayer into a subsection of Multiplayer video game and move the result to Multiplayer game. Please see my arguments and post your opinions and counterarguments at Talk:Multiplayer_game#Contesting the Move. Thank you. Rankiri (talk) 17:52, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, so have removed my own merge tag. —Vanderdecken∴ ∫ξφ 18:23, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
The Multiplayer game article covers all types of games not just electronic games and discussion there indicated that there was no consensus for the article to be devoted to computer games only, as Rankiri proposed. Please focus on merging the computer/PC/browser/online/console/mobile articles first since that is a big enough job in itself. I have amended the merge tag accordingly. - As I said earlier, I strongly disagree with your use of the term multiplayer game in regard to such non-electronic forms gaming as poker or ice hockey, but I agree we should definitely merge PC Multiplayer into a subsection of Multiplayer video game. If no one bothers to volunteer, I'll try to see what I can do when I have a bigger chunk of free time at my disposal. Rankiri (talk) 16:07, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
