Pavia was capital of the independent (medieval) Kingdom of Italy from 888 until 962/64 and from 1002 until 1015.
How far is it from Padova,Italy ?

I would not define Einstein a "pavese". His wikipedia page states that he only lived in Pavia for about a year. Fph 23:33, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
