[edit] Place Of Birth

okay this article says he was born in amsterdam but the article on Suriname claims he was born there, please will somebody clear this one up for me

thankyou Crabman123 23:01, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Yes I can clear that up for you. I'm webmaster of patrick-kluivert.com so if anyone knows, then it should be me :) Kluivert was born in the Onze Lieve Vrouwe Gasthuis (OLVG) in East of Amsterdam. His parents were living at the Naardermeerstraat in Amsterdam at that time. So he was NOT born in Surinam. --GHoeberX 15:53, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Press Conference Announced

Wikipedia is not a newspaper, we can only add facts. The only source I can find at the moment states that Kluivert "may be moving to Sheffield Wednesday". The move is still unconfirmed and should not be included into an encyclopedia until the transfer is completed. Sarcasmos 16:32, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I would also recommend WP:V.  slυмgυм [ ←→ ] 21:19, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Reverted to consensus edit

There appears to be alot of activity on this page. Reverted to remove Newcastle stuff and other contentious information to last confirmed page by sources. CorleoneSerpicoMontana 10:15, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Provide a reference stating that Kluivert signed a contract with Sheffield Wednesday or stop adding false information to this article. Sarcasmos 10:18, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Insurance documents are a necessity to even train with the squad out in Holland. I believe those are sufficient and cited. Londo06 10:33, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
He's not even on trial at the club, he was merely offered one. Please cite the reference that states he's a current Sheffield Wednesday player. Sarcasmos 10:38, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Also, I don't see why you keep reverting my valid edit. Unless you're illiterate, the sources you cite are quite clear: Kluivert is merely offered a trial. A contract is yet to be signed and he is currently not a Sheffield Wednesday player. Nothing encyclopedic about being offered a trial, just newspaper fluff. Sarcasmos 17:37, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
What do the cited sources 3 and 4 actually say 90.197.27.80 17:43, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
ABout the same what ESPN reports; there is interest, nothing more. Sarcasmos 17:55, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
