Talk:Pat Smear
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
His name really sounds like Pap Smear. I would go as "Patrick."
Pat smear played Lake of Fire with Kurdt. Lake of fire is one of the best Nirvana songs.

[edit] Highschool + Timeline = Conflicting
When did he change his name? What to? Also, what name did he play under? What year did he attend high school? How long did he live knowing about Pap Smears before he decided to change his name?
[edit] Blade Runner
I'm curious, was he an extra or something? - RoyBoy 800 22:57, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
While the article states: He also appeared in TV shows such as CHiPs and movies including Blade Runner and Breakin'., IMDB doesn't corroborate any of that. As such, I am removing the sentence. IrishGuy talk 19:01, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Relationship with Dave Grohl
Pat is supposedly going to be joining the foo fighters on their upcoming acoustic tour (summer 2006). I would add this in to the main page...but it hasn't happened yet. -MarlonG
[edit] Member of Nirvana?
In the first paragraph is this sentence: "been a regular member of several well-known bands... The Germs, Nirvana and Foo Fighters." I knew he was in their live touring lineup, but was he actually considered a full-fledged official member of that band?
Yes, actually. Before Unplugged, Cobain tells the audience "This is our new member, Pat". I suppose if they were to have recorded another studio album, Smear would've probably been invovled with it. -Scooter.
Smear was supposed to put his guitar work into "You Know You're Right" but because of Cobain's death, that never materialized. --Raderick 13:44, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

- Put one up that I took and own the rights to, so there shouldn't be any problems. Andrewbootlegger 2228, 22 January 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.194.130.138 (talk) 04:28, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
