Patti Russo (Patricia Rousseau, May 20, 1964, New Jersey) is an American singer/songwriter/actress. She is best known for her vocals featured in many successful songs by Meat Loaf including the hit duets "I'd Lie For You", "Is Nothing Sacred", and "Couldn't Have Said It Better". She performed with him on tour from 1993 to 2006 as lead female vocalist of his band Neverland Express and is featured on the DVD releases Live With the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Storytellers, and Bat II Picture Show. She sang a duet "What About Love" on the recently released Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose. On Thursday 8th May 2008, Meat Loaf announced (on the BBC One Show) that Patti would be returning to the band lineup as his duet parnter for the 2008 Casa de Carne tour. The news was greeted with much excitement and enthusiasm from fans.
She played the role of Theresa on the Trans-Siberian Orchestra album Beethoven's Last Night and has been featured on the soundtrack to the Jim Carrey movie, How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
She has performed with the rock group, Queen, singing lead at the Queendays Festival in Amsterdam and at their induction into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2000, she played the lead role of Esmeralda in the London production of Notre Dame de Paris. She played the character of "Killer Queen" in the Las Vegas version of the musical We Will Rock You, based on the music of Queen.
Her song "Take Good Care Of My Heart" is featured as the theme song in the Warner Brothers feature South Beach Dreams. The song was co-produced by composer-producer Fred Weinberg. Her own original recordings can be found on her myspace page.
Patti has been on numerous talk shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, The View, and numerous MTV and VH1 specials.
Most recently, she toured with the Jon Tiven Band (in Italy) and the SAS Band (in the UK) and guest-starred in the NYC musical "The Twelve" and the "Night of Broadway" benefit concerts. In June 2008, Patti will make her return to the stage with Meat Loaf.
