The Most Reverend Patrick Tyrrell was appointed to the post of Roman Catholic Bishop of Clogher in 1676; he died in this position in 1689. He was succeeded by Bishop Hugh MacMahon on 15 March, 1707.[1] Little else is recorded about Bishop Tyrrell.
