Patitiri older forms: Patitirion (Greek, Modern: Πατητήρι, Katharevoussa: -on) is a town located in the southern part of the island of Alonissos and serves the capital of Alonissos in the Sporades. It is also called by this name while in the census records recognizes as a separate settlement. The population in 2001 was 1,697. Patitiri was destroyed in the 1965 earthquake.
