The Paseo Bridge is a suspension bridge over the Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri. It carries Interstates 29 and 35 and U.S. Route 71 over the bridge. It was built in 1954[2] and was rehabilitated in 1984 and 2005. According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the bridge handles 95,000 vehicles a day, [3] making it the most used bridge in Kansas City. The Paseo Bridge serves as the main connection between Kansas City and the Northland (the area of Kansas City north of the Missouri River). At the time it was built, it was the longest self connected suspension bridge ever constructed worldwide.

MoDOT is planning to replace the bridge with the Christopher S. Bond Bridge (Kansas City). Construction of the new cable-stayed bridge is scheduled to begin in April 2008 and be completed in 2011. The Paseo Bridge will be open during the initial construction.
