Pararistolochia schlechteri is a species of tree native to the tropical South Island of Papua New Guinea.

This tree is known as the host plant of the largest butterfly, the rare Alexandra's birdwing (Ornothoptera alexandrae). Pararistolochia dielsiana may also be used as host from time to time.
