DOES THE PERSON PADDY POWER OWN PADDY POWER BOOKIES OR HE IS JUST THE MARKETING MANAGER?!?
My father grew up in a small town in South West Ireland in the 1930's and he can remember his mother giving him a couple of shillings to go down to the bookies and put on a bet for her every now and then. The bookies was Paddy Power, and from what he remembers, Paddy Power was the owner (though that was obviously the 1930's and that particular Paddy Power is long since dead I would have thought?)
