Oxford Female Institute was a registered historic building in Oxford, Ohio, listed in the National Register on 1976-04-26. The building, demolished in the late 1970s was later known as Fisher Hall when used by Miami University. Miami's Marcum Conference Center now sits on the former location of this building. As young professors, Walter Havighurst and Joseph M. Bachelor lived in this building as advisors. After the building was demolished, artist John Ruthven painted the building as background for study of cardinals which was made into a limited edition print and sold to raise scholarship funds for Miami University.
