[edit] Specifically

Wikipedia simply isn't a genealogy site- it's an encyclopedia article. Overmyer History & Genealogy reads like a genealogy article. And article about the Overmyer name and its importance in history would be really different in tone; check out the existing article on Johnson or Zhang to see what I mean. I don't know if there's enough information out there to write an encyclopedia article, or if the name is notable enough for the encyclopedia to need, but I'm guessing you do- so take a look at those examples and see if you're interested in doing something similar. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 15:47, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
