"Over the Mountain" is the lead track of heavy metal musician Ozzy Osbourne's album Diary of a Madman. It's one of the Ozzy's well known songs, and it's easily recognized by its catchy opening drum intro. This song has been released on several compilation albums.

  • At 2:30 the "Black Sabbath" riff can be heard. Osbourne has since stated that guitarist Randy Rhoads never even realized that he copied it. "There's a riff in Randy's solo that he lifted from the song 'Black Sabbath'. I don't think that Randy ever realized it until I pointed it out to him later."
