Black Rain is the third single from Ozzy Osbourne's ninth studio album Black Rain. A small preview of the song was originally found on ozzy.com located at the bookcase below the full length version of "I Don't Wanna Stop" single. It has echoes of Black Sabbath material with its slow, spooky riffs, and its tempo change at the end.
The song talks about politics and the war in Iraq, using the fictional phenomenon "Black Rain" as a metaphor for war.
