Ouyang Xiaofang

Ouyang Xiaofang (Simplified Chinese: 欧阳晓芳; born 5 April 1983) is a weightlifter from Liaoning, People's Republic of China.
Ouyang participated in the women's -63 kg class at the 2006 World Weightlifting Championships and won the gold medal, snatching 110 kg and pressing an additional 136 kg for a total of 246 kg.[1] DOHA, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- World champion Ouyang Xiaofang of China finished her tour in Doha with a knee injury, winning a silver medal in the women’s 63kg weightlifting here on Monday. The 23-year-old Ouyang, one of the gold medal favorites, injured her left knee when lifting 137kg and quit the competition with a total of 247kg. “Her knee can not bend now, and we are going to take her to a local hospital for further examination,” said Ma Wenhui, Ouyang’s coach. “She strained her knee and at least need one month to recover,”” Ma added.
