Oreius is a fictional character in the 2005 Narnia film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. He is the Centaur general of the army of Aslan. Portrayed as a powerful fighter, he is exceptionally loyal to Peter Pevensie and Aslan.

Oreius does not appear in C. S. Lewis' book The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as a named character, although there are several Centaurs mentioned in the novel.

Oreius was among the party that saved Edmund from the White Witch. He taunted Jadis by binding and gagging Ginarrbrik to the tree where Edmund was tied.

During the Battle of Beruna Ford in the film, when Peter is dismounted, Oreius shows incredible bravery, charging the enemies lines with no other creature but a rhino at his side to help. Oreius kills General Otmin by stabbing his two swords into his back. After killing him, he then draws a two handed blade and charges Jadis. She turns him to stone, although he is later restored (presumably by the breath of Aslan) to flesh in time for the coronation of the four monarchs at the end of the movie. It is this act of bravery that has spawned the popular line (which has been claimed to be Oreius' thoughts as he charged Jadis) "I leave my two swords in your back, draw my claymore, and fight to the death."

He is played by the actor Patrick Kake, assisted by computer-generated imagery and prosthetic makeup.
