From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Oregon Sports Network, owned by Collegiate Sports Marketing, LLC, serves as the multi-media rights holder for the University of Oregon Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. OSN represents the University of Oregon Ducks in areas of television sales & production, radio sales and production, corporate sponsorships, venue signage, print sales and hospitality.

The Oregon Sports Network, "OSN" was established in 1987 to promote all sports and activities within the athletic department. Since 1997 the radio network it has grown to approximately twenty affiliate stations statewide. The network boasts coverage in five states including all reaches of Oregon from Astoria to Klamath Falls and Coos Bay to Eastern Oregon large enough to carry the Ducks to 95% of Oregon's population. Two (2) flagship stations distribute the OSN radio broadcasts, KUGN 590am in Eugene and KXL 750am in Portland. Where there are Oregonians, there is Oregon coverage on OSN.

The Oregon Sports Radio Network broadcasts all live regular and post season FB, MBB and WBB games, as well as a coaches' call-in show throughout the Football and Basketball seasons. The anchor of the radio play-by-play for both Football and Men's Basketball is veteran announcer Jerry Allen from KUGN 590 who has been "the voice of the Ducks," since OSN's inception. During football Jerry is joined by two former ducks, quarterback Mike Jorgensen and KXL's Jay Allen. During men's basketball Jerry takes to court alone for another tremendous men's basketball season. Finally, Terry Jonz fills out our radio crew by providing our women's basketball play-by-play.

Our Television network has recently grown to now incorporate an even larger portion of the state as well as reaching into both Washington and California. With our local TV affiliates, we are able to bring the Ducks into the homes of fans in Eugene-Springfield, Portland, Medford, Klamath Falls, Central Oregon (Bend and Sunriver) and surrounding areas. The Oregon Sports Network Televises two (2) FB games, eight (8) MBB games and two (2) WBB games per year, and any available post season games. Joe Giansante anchors our telecasts, with former UO personalities Anthony Newman (football), Rob Closs (men's and women's basketball) joining Giansante to make up our on screen television duo for all televised OSN broadcasts. The OSN television network is made up of KEZI-9 in Eugene, Comcast SportsNet-37 in Eugene, Portland and Salem, KOHD in Bend/Sunriver, KDRV in Medord and KDKF in Klamath Falls.
