Talk:Olkhon

[edit] Biggest?
The first source quoted in this article incorrectly lists Olkhon as the world's largest lake-bound island. The largest (Manitoulin Island) is signifigantly larger, at 2,766 square kilometres.
[edit] No longer biggest, but...
The article now states that the island is the fourth biggest. That may well be true, but the article on Lake Baikal mentions it as being the second biggest. Which one are we to believe? Backspace (talk) 06:18, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- The article on List of islands in lakes gives it as the fifth biggest, although that's probably because Vozrozhdeniya Island is now a peninsula. :)
