[edit] Wine capital of Canada

That's a self-proclamation, not an official title. There is not authority that bestowed the title. Flyguy649 talk contribs 17:48, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Um, Sumimasen. But I live in Oliver, and this is not a "self-proclamation". We are the wine capital of Canada as declared by Canada. Maybe sometime next week I'll go down Highway 97 and take a photo of our entrance sign saying "Wine capital of canada". You can visit the website, http://www.winecapitalofcanada.com/ I quote from http://www.bcadventure.com/adventure/explore/ok/cities/oliver.htm "Known as the "Wine Capital of Canada", Oliver has the largest concentration of both vineyards and commercial wineries in British Columbia.".
