Oliverio Jesús Alvarez González, or simply Oli, (born April 2, 1972 in Oviedo, Asturias), is a former Spanish footballer who played for Spanish sides Real Oviedo, Cádiz CF, and Real Betis. Oli began his career with Oviedo in 1992, scoring 40 goals in 111 first division outings, 20 of which were scored in his final season with the club. This prompted Betis to sign the forward in 1997. He spent three seasons at Seville, scoring 19 goals in 91 league appearances before rejoining Real Oviedo in 2000 where he scored 15 goals in 37 appearances. He finally ended his career at Cádiz, in 2005-06, scoring just one goal in 29 appearances in La Liga. Coached that same club in 2006-07, not finishing the season as Cádiz failed to regain a top flight spot.
