Is its size "13,726.25 km²", as stated in the infobox?

Or is it "approximately 34,000 km²" as stated in the text?

It's probably no accident the relationship between the numbers is that of hectares to acres, even though that would be square kilometers to hundreds of acres and you don't see these expressed in hundred-acre units. Or it could be a fairly poor conversion assuming the 13,726.25 figure were mi², and using 2.5 km²/mi²; 13,726.25 mi² would actually be 35,550.8 km², however. Gene Nygaard 06:13, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
