[edit] What I'm trying to add on

[edit] Ignorance as a factor

Most people are not that knowledgeable, Parents think their diet is healthy that low-fat Pop Tarts are healthy or Goldfish crackers are because they're not potato chips. Some people count candy in the shape of fruit as a fruit. Most people are willing to think about it. Even those who haven't been successful controlling their own weight are often eager to help their child, because they don't want him or her going through what they've been through. it's important not to alienate parents by blaming them.

[edit] Article name

Per Wikipedia standards, shouldn't this be Obesity in children? A move is easy with the tool. — Frecklefoot | Talk 19:46, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

What tool? Yensin 20:57, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Over on the left, you should see a link that says "Move this page." Click on it and it will give you an option to move the page to a new name (i.e. Obesity in children). The old article (Obesity in Children) will remain as a redirect. HTH — Frecklefoot | Talk 21:33, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

I can't do it because I am too new a user. I don't know how long you have to be a user to be allowed to do that. Yensin 20:22, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
There is also an article named Childhood obesity but this one is better in my opinion. MoRsΞ 14:32, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Of course its better. It's plagiarized.Rklawton 01:03, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Style

This article's style leaves a lot to be desired. Indeed, it looks like marketing hype for Childrens National Medical Center. Rklawton 01:01, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
