Obernberg am Brenner is a municipality in the southern district of Innsbruck-Land and is located app. 30 km southwest of Innsbruck in a valley with the same name which is a side valley of the Wipptal. The popular Obernberger See is visited by tourists; the Obernberger Seebach flows through the village and provides Obernberg with drinking water.
