I checked on IPNI, but no variety or subspecific rank below N. lotus that matched this name was listed there. Does anyone have an idea if this is synonymous with something else, a cultivar, or something else? Rkitko ^(talk) 01:22, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

It is not a cultivar, it's been there since Europe was a much warmer place, before glaciations. It has been protected by the thermal waters. It is not well known outside Romania. You can find some pictures by googling the name. 67.81.182.37 (talk) 01:53, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
