Nurse cell is a term used to describe a process in the disease trichinosis, in which a trichinella larvae takes up residence in a cell. The body of the host generates development of the blood vessels that surround the cell, in order to nurture the parasite. In trichinosis, nurse cells are likely to be skeletal muscle cells, as this is the type of cell that supports the life of the parasite. yea like it helps the cell survive and feeds it and stuff.
