Nothing Could Come Between Us is the first single released from the debut album Theory of a Deadman, by the band of the same name. It represented the first major success of the band and helped propel it on to the music scene, landing at #8 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock Tracks and #2 on the Canadian Singles Chart. The song's lyrics deal with the disillusionment of a man when he understands that, despite his feelings, he doesn't feel like he can spend the rest of his life with someone. The song also deals with his reminiscing about the good times they had and some of her favorite mannerisms ("Nothing could come between us, no nothing, nothing / One the favorite things she used to say").
