Northern Mystics are one of ten netball teams competing in the new trans-Tasman ANZ Championship. An amalgamation of the Northern Force and Auckland Diamonds from New Zealand's National Bank Cup, the team represents the Northland and Auckland regions. The Mystics 2008 matches have been played exclusively in Auckland: five at the Trusts Stadium in Waitakere, with a match also at Vector Arena and North Shore Events Centre. The team for the 2008 season includes high-profile former Silver Ferns players Temepara George and Vilimaina Davu.^[1][2]
