Noodles & Company is a chain of fast casual restaurants located in parts of the United States. The company is privately held. Founder Aaron Kennedy opened the first store in Cherry Creek, Denver in 1995[1]. The central office is located in Colorado.
The menu consists of mainly pasta, soup, and salad items from various cultures, and include macaroni and cheese, mushroom stroganoff, chicken noodle soup, and Pad Thai. All dishes are vegetarian (except the Pad Thai, which contains seafood), the chicken noodle soup (contains chicken) and the caesar salad (dressing contains anchovies), but chicken, shrimp, beef or tofu can be added to any order. The design of the restaurant is modern with bold colors.

The menu at Noodles & Company restaurants is divided into three major sections - Asian, Mediterranean and American. The menu also offers several appetizers, such as potstickers, flat bread (pita bread), and ciabatta rolls. Customers are also offered an array of domestic and imported beer, as well as several different kinds of wine.
Dishes can be ordered in one of three varieties. Customers can either opt for a small size, a regular size, or a Trio. A Trio consists of a small-sized portion of either pasta, soup, or salad, topped with chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu, and served with a side salad or side of soup.

Japanese Pan Noodles - Carmelized udon noodles with broccoli, carrots, shiitake mushrooms, Asian sprouts, and sesame seeds in a spicy soy sauce.
Pad Thai - Rice noodles sautéed in a sweet thai sauce with carrots, asian sprouts, scrambled eggs, cabbage, and peanuts, topped with lime, and cilantro.
Bangkok curry - Rice noodles sautéed with broccoli, carrots, cabbage, red bell peppers, red onions, and mushrooms in a coconut curry sauce.
Indonesian Peanut Sauté - Rice noodles sautéed in a spicy peanut sauce with broccoli, cabbage, carrots, asian sprouts, and garnished with cilantro and lime.
Chinese Chop salad - Carrots, cabbage, cucumber, asian sprouts, red bell peppers, and wonton strips mixed with field greens and a sesame soy dressing.
Thai Curry Soup - Rice noodles boiled with mushrooms, tomatoes, cabbage, and red onions, topped with spinach and cilantro.

Penne Rosa - A creamy and spicy marinara sauce sautéed with penne noodles, tomatoes, mushrooms, and spinach, with Parmesan or feta cheese garnish.
Pesto Cavatappi - A creamy pesto sauce sautéed with corkscrew noodles, mushrooms, and tomatoes, garnished with Parmesan or feta cheese.
Pasta Fresca - Penne noodles sautéed in a white wine sauce with tomatoes, red onions, spinach, and garnished with parmesan or feta cheese
Whole grain Tuscan Linguini - whole wheat linguine noodles sautéed with mushrooms, red onions, red bell peppers, and broccoli in a creamy white wine sauce.
The Med Salad - Tomatoes, cucumbers, Kalamata olives, red onions, and field greens tossed in a spicy greek dressing and topped with feta cheese.
Tomato Basil Bisque - A hearty sherry cream tomato soup.

Wisconsin Mac & Cheese - Elbow noodles topped with a creamy cheese sauce and cheddar-jack cheese.
Mushroom Stroganoff - Egg noodles topped with a sherry cream sauce and mushrooms, garnished with parmesan cheese and parsley.
Buttered Noodles - Egg noodles topped with melted butter, italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Offered at a dollar less than the other dishes.
House Marinara - Penne noodles topped with tomato marinara sauce and garnished with paremsan cheese and parsley.
Caesar Salad - Romane and field greens mixed in a creamy caesar dressing topped with crutons and parmesan cheese.
Chicken Noodle Soup - Egg noodles mixed with carrots, celery, onions, and chicken in a buttery broth topped with parsley.

Noodles has more than 150 locations spread throughout several regions of the United States, including:
- Mountain states, mostly located throughout the Colorado cities of Denver, Colorado Springs,Fort Collins, American Fork, Utah, and Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Upper Midwest, including Minneapolis-Saint Paul,Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska. Janesville, Milwaukee, Madison, and Stevens Point Wisconsin, the Quad Cities in Iowa, St. Louis, Missouri, and throughout Chicagoland.
- Great Lakes, including Detroit and Lansing, Michigan, Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as franchised locations in Indianapolis, and Bloomington, Indiana.
- Mid-Atlantic, located throughout the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area in Virginia and Maryland.
Now Open: A new location recently opened in Durham, NC.

Nation's Restaurant News declared it a Hot Concepts! winner in 2001.[2] Ernst & Young named Kennedy Entrepreneur of the Year in the "consumer products" category in 1993.
ColoradoBiz magazine named it the top retail/wholesale company in Colorado in 2003.[3]
