The so-called "Arguments to avoid" cover every freakin' argument I can possibly think of. If I am unable to have a voice without an argument that ISN'T on that damned list, then I'm screwed. How the hell am I supposed to make a point without being throttled down by some stupid acronym? I also try to talk to those who are flinging those freakin' acronyms around, but I can't, because they'll just keep flinging them.

[edit] Ten-year-old minor controversy

This seemingly important controversy on the JC Penney article concerns a pulling of ads from Ellen. I disapprove of homophobia in all forms, but there are a few issues with this one thing:

  1. I added a section about racial profiling to Dillard's, which was decried as "unencyclopedic" (whatever the hell that means) and removed.
  2. Four other companies are mentioned in that section that did the same thing, and none of them had similar sections until I cut and pasted the same paragraph from JC Penney and added them out of sheer spite. I hope they get removed and I get reprimanded or even blocked for it.
  3. If all sorts of controversies are added to articles, Ford should have an entire article about how it suffered due to Henry Ford's antisemitism.

Am I alone in thinking that this is now irrelevant?
