Article 1:

The founding and the keeping of a societal group of students dedicated to the cause of analytical philosophy and critical thinking. This is to be achieved by:

   a) A communal meeting each week in which the members of the club will discuss topics ranging from modern-day politics to ancient questions of self-being.
   b) Collaborative work within the club to propose solutions to problems anywhere using philosophy, ranging from societal problems to ones of less-pivotal ground (i.e. difficulties with solving personal problems.)
   c) General communal help between club members, including the aforementioned problem solving and the opening of minds to the ideas of others.

Article 2 (Summary):

This club is founded in the name of philosophy and all who believe that the way a person thinks affects what they can do. The central goal of this group is to provide a form for students to discuss their thoughts in almost all areas, from such age old questions such as "Who am I?" and "Why do I exist?" to modern problems in society, culture, and emerging population trends. As a direct result of this ability to speak, members will come to have a more open mind and broadened horizons after hearing others voice their opinions, thoughts, and feelings in given topics. Such topics would be discussed in meetings that occur once a week, with only a few exceptions, and are decided by group consensus (as this is only a proposal, I need not go into more detail about how we come to a consensus, unless otherwise asked.) However, this is not debate club per se, as the goal of this club is not argue in order to prove one's point right decisively, but to argue in order to make everyone engaged come to a better understanding along the way, making the journey to discovery and conclusion more valuable than the conclusion itself. Thus, the premise of the club is to enable people to teach each other, not just to teach directly.
