No. 27 Squadron RAAF

No. 27 Squadron RAAF is a Royal Australian Air Force reserve squadron headquartered at RAAF Base Townsville. The squadron was formed on 1 July 1981 and is responsible for providing competent and qualified personnel to fill vacancies within the Air Force. No. 27 Squadron personnel fill a wide range of roles in the Permanent Air Force units located at RAAF Base Townsville.
