If you wish to leave a message for me, I have a few guidelines to help me read and reply to your message easier. First, to add a new message, click the + sign at the top of the page. Then, type a subject in the title box so that I will know what you are writing about, and I will be able to identify your message easily in the Table of Contents at the top of this page. Finally, before you send the message, please make sure that you sign it, using four tildes (~~~~), or by pressing the "Your signature with timestamp" button on the toolbar above the talk box. It is the third button from the right, beside the box with the red X. It is more difficult for me to reply if you do not sign the message, or just type your name.
Thank you, and I look forward to helping you here in Wikiland!

thanks for the offer. What type of Virginia articles did you have in mind? I have already been working a little on Arlington, Virginia, but mainly I have been focused on NFL pages. Let me know your thoughts. Jwalte04 (talk) 17:08, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

Secondly, although the Tag & Assess 2007 drive is now officially closed, you are very welcome to continue tagging and assessing until 31 January 2008. Any articles you tag and assess during this time will be credited fully to your tagging tally for further award purposes.
Thirdly, if you can find the time, it would be good to have your feedback/comments on the drive at the Tag & Assess workshop

[edit] Re:Admin coaching
Sure, I guess so. We could create a page where we keep all of our discussions and such. jj137 ♠ 00:48, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. I updated the page, by the way. jj137 ♠ 01:47, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- I've taken the liberty of modifying your answer: not because I want to change your own work, but because you accidentally listed your page on Category:Candidates for speedy deletion. Nyttend (talk) 04:29, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- Your answers are very good. When you open your RfA (BTW, I can nominate you when the time comes if you want) you can probably just copy and paste your answers to the RfA page. Sometimes people like to see more areas of activity, but don't make it a priority to list more, as I think it is fine as is. That can just mess things up (I sort of learned that in my own RfA). jj137 ♠ 01:47, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
- I just need to archive my talk page, which I can do right after this. If you frequently use your watchlist (I do), we can both watchlist User:No1lakersfan/Admin Coaching and know when one person updates it. Or, we could just communicate via talk page, as we are now. jj137 ♠ 02:14, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Little context in Category:Wikify from July 2006
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Wikify from July 2006, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Wikify from July 2006 is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Wikify from July 2006, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. [edit] Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/No1lakersfan 3
No1lakersfan, I am sorry to inform you that I have closed your RfA as unlikely to reach consensus: there was an 10:23 ratio against the request at the time of processing. However, don't be downhearted by this: I can assure you that your contributions are both highly welcome and valued—many editors have failed their first request for adminship, only to sail through later and become well-respected administrators.
You may wish to review the Guide to RfA before submitting future nominations, as well as well as here and here, both of which list the more highly-supported RfAs. Additionally, admin coaching is a useful aid for editors interested in becoming an administrator. If I can assist you at all, please do not hesitate to contact me. [edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wwhv.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Wwhv.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 07:20, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Baseball Game Logs
I think that it would be fine to move them all back to the regular season pages. I think the user who moved all of the misunderstood the page about game logs, which probably needs updated anyway. I moved the Pittsburgh Pirates one, which I try to update everyday, back to the main article and nobody has complained. If you have anymore questions you know where to find me! Thanks! Blackngold29 17:31, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for moving the Phillies game log back. I didn't want to do it myself and take the chance of royally screwing it up, especially considering the fact that I'm the one who updates in all the time. I appreciate it! KV5 (talk) 22:13, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
I would try to find out who it was that reverted your edits and contact them directly. Cite the conversation on WP:BASEBALL's talk page where they were discussed. See if you can get them to discuss it at least. If you have any trouble with that let me know and I'll try to help you get them moved back. Blackngold29 00:42, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Caroline Seal.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Caroline Seal.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
The following images also have this problem:

[edit] Baseball Game Log
OK, didn't realize there was a huge discussion about this. Still doesn't make sense. scrolling down through text is a real pain. It would be simple to have a template and a v.d.e link on the actual game log. Probably make everyone happy, but whatever.
