Nimule is a town in Sudan just inside the border crossing to Uganda.

In 2007, there were new proposals for a rail link between Uganda and Sudan passing through Nimule. The nearest towns in Uganda is Pamangara and Atiak.

• On 7 October 2006, a heavy truck from Kenya carrying cement caused several spans on one carriageway of the bridge to collapse into the river. ^{[1] [2]}
